Koç Üniversitesi ve İş Bankası Yapay Zekâ Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi Açıldı
İş Bankası ve Koç Üniversitesi; ülkemizin bilimsel ve akademik faaliyetlerine katkıda bulunmak, yapay zekâ alanında ileri düzeyde çalışmalar gerçekleştirmek amacıyla “Yapay Zekâ Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi” kuruldu. Merkez; ülkemizdeki bilimsel ve akademik faaliyetlere katkıda bulunmayı, yapay zekâ alanında ileri düzeyde çalışmalar gerçekleştirmeyi amaçlıyor.

“Professor Dr. İsmail Lazoğlu and biomedical Ph.D. assistants Anjum Malik and Taha Janjua are working on the development of a new electromyography (EMG) controlled bionic hand at Koç University’s Manufacturing and Automation Research Center (MARC).”

Dr. Murat Kuşçu who is one of our 2017 PhD graduates has been honoured to receive 2018 IEEE Türkiye PhD Thesis Award with the PhD thesis title “Nanoscale and Bio-inspired Communication Techniques for the Internet of Bio-Nano Things”.

Dr. Seyhan Uçar and thesis advisor Assoc. Prof. Öznur Özkasap were awarded 2018 YÖK (Council of Higher Education, Türkiye) Outstanding Achievement Awards, Individual Awards category, in Science and Engineering with the PhD thesis “Visible Light Communication Assisted Secure and Efficient Architecture For Autonomous Platoon”.
