Our Electrical and Electronics Engineering faculty member Prof. Hakan Ürey is elected as an Optica Fellow (formerly OSA) for outstanding contributions to the research, development, and commercialization of optical display and imaging technologies. Optica Fellow is a distinguished group of members who have served the society and the Optics and Photonics Community with distinction. We congratulate Prof. Hakan Ürey for this well-deserved recognition and wishing him continued success!

BAGEP-2024 Young Scientist Award

Dr. Erkan Şenses, from the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, was awarded the BAGEP-2024-Young Scientist award by the Science Academy for his research on lipid bilayer-polymer interactions in artificial cell models.
