Dr. Gönen’s research program proposed for TÜBA GEBİP award can be titled as “Computational methods to improve personalized medicine approaches for breast cancer”. This research program will develop novel computational methods that use cancer cell lines and primary tumor samples conjointly to overcome the limitations of classical methods of biomarker identification.
