2021 YÖK Outstanding Achievement Awards
Dr. Houman Bahmani Jalali and his thesis advisor Assoc. Prof. Sedat Nizamoğlu were awarded PhD Thesis of the Year Award in Science and Engineering by YÖK (Council of Higher Education, Türkiye) for their study entitled “Novel Biocompatible Quantum Dots and Nanoengineered Assemblies for Optoelectronic Neural Interfaces”.

Our PhD graduate Houman Bahmani Jalali is currently working as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow in Photonic Nanomaterials at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (Genova, Italy).
