Koç University College of Engineering invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Energy Systems related research starting in Fall 2019. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Engineering or Applied Sciences. The candidate is expected to develop a research program on the applications of data science, big data analytics and machine learning in process industries or other energy applications which are becoming increasingly digitized. The candidate is also expected to contribute to projects in a newly established research collaboration in this field between Koç University and Tüpraş within the umbrella of KUTEM (Koç University Tüpraş Energy Center). Candidates at all academic levels with an exemplary research and publication record will be considered. The faculty member is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in addition to maintaining a vigorous research program.
